Falling in Love with Freddy

Before we get in over our heads here, let’s be clear — Freddy is not a guy. In fact, Freddy is not a person or a someone at all. Rather, it’s a something. Something soft, stylish, versatile, and incredibly flattering. If you’ve caught on to my not-at-all-alluring-or-mysterious introduction, then you’ll realize that Freddy is indeed a pair of pants.

You could argue that my falling in love with pants is pathetic, and you would be partially right. But I would argue back that you probably just haven’t tried these pants. While I normally buy jeans from all sorts of places and do what I can to preserve them forever (honestly, I still have pants from like five years ago), I had yet to find a pair that I could actually swear by to look good, feel good, and stay in good shape… until now.

See, Freddy know’s what’s up, and that’s your butt. He pays attention to you — your curves, your angles, your muscles, and your jiggly bits. He’s always there supporting you, whether it’s holding you up or relaxing with a little give. He’s dependable, comfortable, and best of all, he always, always helps you to look your best.

The magic, friends, is in the design and the tech. The Freddy WR-UP pants by Livify that I’m wearing here are made with a combination of Freddy’s own Dry In Wet Out Technology and the Emana Technology. Basically what that means is the pants are infused with bioactive minerals that soak into your skin, reducing the look of imperfections like cellulite and staying totally comfortable, breathable, and odor free. Not only are they incredibly soft and stretchy to wear (yes comfort and style can co-exist) but they also stay up! Anyone who has ever had to tug at a pair of pants that slip down will know the struggle, and will appreciate the silicone lining in the waist band that helps to keep these babies in place.

Of course, with all the hard work that Freddy puts in you need to give a little back. Each pair comes with a calculated set of care instructions, from how to put them on properly (roll them on like tights and never, ever tug at the belt loops) to how to wash and dry them. Styles range from various cuts, textures, and colours, and if you get a pair then you’re pretty much doomed to want them all. Up next on my list? You’ll have to wait and see.
